The 4th phrase has these 3 narrator words ... "ho hermēneuetai apestalmenos" [(which is) the hermeneutic having-been-sent (of God)]. The 3 narrator words are top down. The word hermēneuetai refers to the Greek God Hermes, the messenger of the Gods, the god of speech, writing, mysteries, arcane learning, translation, a guide to the after life. The word apestalmenos comes from apo (away from) and stéllō (to send), to having been sent as an apostle, a messenger from God. The text means Jesus was sent to "work the works" of God the Father and the Holy Spirit (Jn 9:4a). The diagram implies God and the Holy Spirit sent Jesus down to Earth to cure the blind man as a message to the Jews. Jn 9:7b < Verses > Jn 9:7d |
