Jn 6:19d ... and they were afraid.

The fourth phrase has these 2 narrator words, ... kai efobēthēsan (And they were afraid).

The 2 words are top down. If you saw a disjointed head and body coming near you while you were in a boat in the middle of a windy sea at night you would be afraid too. The diagram shows the two fear circles covering the eight disciples in vesica mode and coming off the heads of the four disciples in face mode.
