Verse 46 has two sentences containing four phrases and 17 words. The first sentence is a question having two phrases containing 4 narrator and 6 dialog words ... Kai eipen autō Nathanaēl, ... "Ek Nazaret dunatai ti agathon einai" (And said to him Nathanael, ... "Out of Nazareth can anything good be")? The 4 narrator words are top down and the 6 dialog words are bottom up. Nathanael was from Cana in Galilee (Jn 21:2), not far from Nazareth. He knew Nazareth had a bad reputation, it was never even mentioned in the Jewish scriptures. Nathanael knew the Messiah was prophesied to come from Bethlehem, not Nazareth (Micah 5:2). The question implies that nothing good can come from there. However the Gospel text and the diagram images contradict that belief. The word "Nathanaēl" is tangent to Nathanael's face, the word "Nazaret" is tangent to Nazareth's triangle holding Philip, and the 6 words "ek Nazaret dunatai ti agathon einai" (out of Nazareth, can anything good be?) are tangent to a triangle holding Jesus that just came out of another triangle named Nazareth.
