Jn 1:45a ... Finds Philip the Nathanael, ...

Verse 45 has six phrases containing 24 words. The first phrase has these 4 narrator words ... euristkei Filippos ton Nathanaēl (Finds Philip the Nathanael, ...).

The four words are top down. When we get to verse 48 we can deduce this must be the verse where Jesus saw Nathanael under a fig tree with his head on a rock. Jesus was watching from above, reading Nathanael's heart and mind. He could see Nathanael was dreaming of "Jacob's Dream at Bethel" (Genesis 28:10-22), when Jacob slept with his head on a rock and had a dream of a stairway resting on the ground with it's top to heaven and God's angels going up and down on it. God said to Jacob, "I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Your descendants will spread out in all directions. All people will be blessed through you and your offspring."
