Jn 1:13a ... The-ones not out-of bloods, ...

Verse 13 has 4 phrases containing 4 narrator words to each phrase. The first phrase has these 4 narrator words ... Hoi ouk eks haimatōn (The-ones not out-of bloods, ...).

The four words are top down. Verse 13 examines how "Children of God" are born. It lists three types of birth that exclude men from becoming "Children of God" followed by the only one that allows it. The first one excludes being born from a prestigious blood line, even one that may extend all the way back to Abraham, the father of the Jewish faith. The diagram shows an illustrious ancestor at the top of the bloodline, then 2 descendants below him, followed by the Holy Spirit holding the 2 men at the bottom. As you can see, this pair of descendants is born of men, not God.
