Verse 5 has two phrases containing these 13 narrator words ... Kai to fōs en tē skotia fainei, kai hē skotia auto ou katelaben (And the light in the darkness shines, and the darkness it not did grasp). The 7 words of the first phrase are bottom up. The 4 words "Kai to fōs fainei" (and the Light shines) are tangent to the bottom white triangle, the source of the light, and to the top white triangle, the place where the light shines plus the area inside the hexagon that is filled with light. The 5 words "fōs en tē skotia fainei" (light in the darkness shines) is tangent to the two beams of light and grasps the the top arm of the hexagram that grasps two of the four areas of Darkness enclosing the light.
