Verse 4 has two phrases containing these 12 narrator words, ... En autō zōē ēn, kai hē zōē ēn to fōs tōn anthrōpōn (In him Life was, and the Life was the Light of the Men). The second phrase of 8 words are top down. The diagram shows the 5 words "hē zōē ēn to fōs" (the Life was the Light) are tangent to the two white equilateral triangles in the hexagon. After "a beginning," the word zōē (Life) is the second abstract noun in John's Gospel. By convention, abstract nouns are equilateral triangles. The gematria value of "Life" (zōē) is 815 units. Therefore the sign of Life is identical to the sign of Light. The last 2 words "tōn anthrōpōn" (of the Men) are tangent to the hexagon and the two men in the bottom two arms of the hexagram. The third man is tangent to the sign of Light. The diagram matches the imagery of the text. Jn 1:4a < Verse > Jn 1:5a |
