Jn 1:5 ... And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness it not did grasp.

Verse 5 has two phrases containing these 13 narrator words ... Kai to fōs en tē skotia fainei, kai hē skotia auto ou katelaben (And the light in the darkness shines, and the darkness it not did grasp).

The 13 words of the two phrases are bottom up. The 4 words "Kai to fōs fainei" (and the Light shines) are tangent to the white triangle, the source of the light, and to the area inside the hexagon that is filled with light. The 5 words "tē skotia, hē skotia auto" (the Darkness, the Darkness it) are tangent to all four areas of Darkness enclosing the light. The image actually shows that the Darkness did not touch or grasp the Light. Only the words did. The narrative text is 100% true, it matches the imagery of the diagram.
