| 35a 35b | 36a 36b | 37a 37b | Mk 12:35b ... "How say the scribes that the Christ is (the) Son of David?"
The 3rd phrase has these 10 dialog words, ... Hōs legousin hoi grammateis hoti ho Xristos uios Dauid estin ["How say the scribes that the Christ (the) Son of David is"]? The 10 dialog words are from the outside in, then top down. The 4 words "Hōs legousin hoi grammateis" (How say the scribes) are tangent to "the scribes." The 3 words (that the Christ) are tangent to the equilateral triangle holding the image of Christ (1480). The last 3 words "huios Dauid estin"(Son of David is) are tangent to the image of David. The underlying diagram should show that if Jesus Christ was the Son of David, Jesus (Christ) should appear subordinate to David. However, the words in this diagram show Jesus Christ is in a superior position to David. The diagram shows the two words, "huios Dauid" (Son David), coming from the scribes are tangent to the image of Christ which confirms Christ is in the wrong position. Jesus will now argue that the scribes do not know what they are talking about. 12:35a < Verses > 12:36a |
