Verse 47 has six phrases containing 27 dialog words. The first three phrases have these 9 words ... Kai ean ho ofthalmos sou, skandalize se, ekbale auton ("And if the eye of you, causes to stumble you, then cast out it, ..."). The first phrase of 5 dialog words are top down, tangent from the hands of Jesus to the tips of the pupils of the eyes of the man and then to the tips of his hand. The second phrase of 2 dialog words are tangent to the tip of his other hand and then to the first 4 words. The third phrase of 2 dialog words are tangent to same things as phrase two but in the reverse order. The diagram shows the cast out eye held in the tip of the man's other hand. In order for the words to be tangent to the images they named, the man had to be drawn inside the hexagon. Diagram 47b confirms it. 9:45c < Verses > 9:47b |
