The third and fourth phrases have these 17 dialog words ... kalon estin autōi mallon ei perikeitai mulos onikos peri ton trachēlon autou kai beblētai eis tēn thalassan ("ideal (it) is to him if hangs about a millstone of an ass about the neck of him, and he be cast into the sea"). The 17 dialog words are top down. The words "kalon estin" (ideal it is) are tangent to the inside of the ideal rhombus holding Jesus tangent to the "not ideal" rhombus holding the man snaring the two "little ones." The words "ton trachēlon" (the neck) lie on the line crossing the neck of this "ass." The words "mulos onikos" (a millstone of an ass) lie on the diagonals terminating on the millstone of this "ass of a man." The last 4 words "beblētai eis tēn thalassan" (he be cast into the sea) are tangent to the millstone, the triangle holding the ass, and the bottom of the sea that will drown him. 9:42b < Verses > 9:43a |
