Verse 42 has five phrases containing 29 dialog words. The first phrase has these 8 words, ... Kai hos an skandalisē hena tōn mikrōn toutōn ("And whoever anyhow snares one of the little ones of these, ..."). The 8 dialog words are top down, "entrapping" every third word of the phrase (anyway, of the) inside an equilateral triangle. This triangle is then tangent to the heads of a little boy and girl inside two other equilateral triangles. The diagram shows a man's hands and arms gathering these two little ones to himself as if he "snared" them. The 4 words "skandalisē hena toutōn mikrōn" (snares one of these little ones) is tangent to the triangles entrapping these two children. 9:41c < Verses > 9:42b |
