Mk 9:36b ... And having taken him into his arms, he said to them, ...

The third and fourth phrases have these 5 narrator words, ... kai enagkalisamenos auto, eipen autois (and having taken him into his arms, he said to them, ...).

The 5 narrator words are top down. Jesus already took the child in his arms from above in the previous diagram so this diagram requires a different version. The diagram shows Jesus taking the child in his arms from the four diagonals. The 5 words, and in this exact word order, just happens to be the correct number to reach from Jesus on top, through the child in the center, to the 12 disciples on the bottom. The first 2 words (and having taken into his arms), show Jesus taking the words and the child into his arms. The third word (him) is tangent to the child (the youth). The fourth word (he said) is tangent to the child, but it also shows Jesus speaking through the youth (the child). The fifth word (to them) is tangent to the twelve. The fourth word is telling you, the reader, that Jesus is this youth. The next verse will prove it.
