Mk 8:34d ... "and let him take up his cross, ..."

The fourth phrase has these 5 dialog words ... kai aratō ton stauron autou (and let him take up the cross of him, ...).

The 5 dialog words are top down. The above cross was constructed from four eqilateral triangles. Five words from Jesus is the exact height of the cross. The 2 word command "kai aratō" (and let him take up) is tangent to Jesus. The 3 word object "ton stauron autou" (the cross of him) is tangent to the man. The diagram shows the man raising his cross. The imagery of the text and the diagram agree with each other.
