Mk 6:31a ... And he-said to-them, ... "Come you yourselves down privately into a-wilderness place, ..."

Verse 31 has two sentences containing 5 phrases and 23 words. The 1st and 2nd phrases contain these 3 narrator and 8 dialog words, ... Kai legei autois, Deute humeis autoi kat idian eis erēmon topon, kai anapausasthe oligon (And he-says to-them, "Come you yourselves privately down into a-'wilderness place,' ...").

Diagram 1: The first 11 words are top down tangent to Jesus, 3 equilateral triangles, the rectangle (erēmon = Wilderness), and the square (topon = Place). The two words "erēmon, topon" (wilderness, place) are exactly tangent to the signs on which they sit. Both "wilderness places" have the same area, one fourth the area of the entire graph.

Diagram 2: This diagram shows the twelve disciples have "come down privately." Ten of the Twelve disciples are either inside of an equilateral triangle, a square, or a rectangle. Two disciples are sitting unenclosed on top of the square. Each disciple is now "privately by themselves," unable to see anyone next to them, as they descend into a "wilderness place." The disciples have now completed half of what they were told to do. The next diagram will show them "resting a little."
