The 2nd "phrase" has these 6 narrator words, ... Kai periēgen tas kōmas kuklō didaskōn (And he-led-around the villages in-a-circle teaching). The 6 narrator words starting clockwise over his body are tangent to the inside of a ring behind his head that touch the six villages that Jesus will go around in a circle teaching. The text is very ambiguous, leaving it up to the reader's imagination to fill in the details. Jesus presumably "leads" the disciples around to teach parables in the villages even though they are not mentioned till the next verse. Then comes this phrase about teaching in a circle. The text doesn't say he is teaching the people in the villages. Maybe the author of the gospel is teaching the reader to look closely inside the raised Jesus (8880) circle! 6:6a < Verses > 6:7a |
