Mk 6:1b ... And are-following to-him, the disciples of-him.

The 2nd and 3rd phrases have these 6 narrator words ... kai akolouthousin autō hoi mathētai autou (and are-following to-him, the disciples of-him).

The 3 narrator words of the 2nd phrase are bottom up from the ground on the left tangent to Jesus. The 3 narrator words of the 3rd phrase are bottom up from the ground on the right tangent to Jesus. The twelve disciples are following below. The disciples follow Jesus in a geometric sense. The rectangle holding the twelve disciples has the same area as the hexagon that encloses Jesus.
