Mark 6:2b
| 1a 1b | 2a 2b 2c 2d | 3a 3b 3c 3d | 4a 4b 4c | 5a 5b 5c | 6a 6b | Mk 6:2b ... And many listening were-amazed saying, ... "From-where this-one these-things!" ...
The 2nd and 3rd phrases have these 5 narrator and 3 dialog words, ... Kai polloi akouontes ekseplēssonto legontes, Pothen toutō tauta (And many listening were-amazed saying, ... "From-where (did) this-one (learn) these-things")? The 8 words are bottom up from the synagogue Jews to Jesus. The 3 words "kai polloi akouontes" (and many listening) are tangent to 4 men listening with words tangent to their ears. The 2 words "ekseplēssonto legontes" (were amazed saying) are tangent to 2 amazed men saying "this-one, these-things." The author of the ones asking these questions (From-where, this-one, these-things?) has purposely left out words due to a lack of space. He will do it many more times in future phrases when space is tight. 6:2a < Verses > 6:2c |
