In verse 5c, Jesus (888) performs miracle number 12 of his 8+8+8 (24) miracles in this gospel. The 3rd phrase has these 4 narrator words, ... epitheis tas cheiras etherapeusen (laying-on the hands he-cured). The 4 narrator words are clockwise, starting from the right side of his head. The diagram shows Jesus has dropped down and put his hands on the two Unclean Spirits. The two words "tas cheiras" (the hands) are tangent to the hands of Jesus. The word "epitheis" comes from the preposition "epi" (on, upon) and the verb "tithēmi" (to place, to lay). The word "etherapeusen" comes from the verb "therapeuō" (to-cure) and the noun "therapōn" (a servant), a servant who cures. As soon as Jesus put his hands on the two Unclean Spirits he cut them in two. The two men, now free of their "sickness" were cured. They were now enclosed inside two white triangles, the signs of Health. The two broken Unclean Spirits dropped down to the bottom of the graph. Jesus (888) has now completed one half of the 24 (8+8+8) miracles he performed in this gospel. |
