The 3rd and 4th phrases have these 8 narrator words ... kai idōn auton piptei pros tous podas autou (and having-seen him, he-falls-down before the feet of-him). The 8 narrator words are clockwise starting top right. The 3 words of the first phrase "kai idōn auton" (and having-seen-him) are tangent to the two triangles holding Jesus and his extended feet. The first two words of the second phrase "piptei pros" (he-falls-down before) are tangent to the equilateral triangle holding Jairos who has fallen on the floor of the synagogue. The last three words of the second phrase "tous podas autou" (the feet of-him) are tangent to the two equilateral triangles holding "the extended feet of Jesus and the body of Jesus standing." The text says Jairos has fallen before the feet of Jesus, but Jairos was already before the feet of Jesus in the previous diagram. In order to make both diagrams true, the feet of Jesus had to be stretched. The diagram shows the equilateral triangle holding Jairos is now before the feet of Jesus. Jairos and Jesus are now in position for the next verse where Jesus will need to strech his hands. 5:22a < Verses > 5:23a |
