The 4th phrase has these 11 narrator words ... kai pas ho ochlos pros tēn thalassan epi tēs gēs esan (And all the crowd, before the sea, upon the land were). The first group of 4 words "kai pas ho ochlos" (And all the crowd) are bottom up tangent to the green rectangle holding the crowd. The next 3 words "pros tēn thalassan" (before the sea) are tangent to and before the surface of the sea. The last 4 words "epi tēs gēs esan" (upon the land were) are top down tangent to the land. The location and imagery of the words perfectly matches the objects on the diagram. Jesus will resume teaching his disciples in the next verse. 4:1c < Verses > 4:2a |
