Son - uios

Definition: Uios (hwee-os') Noun, Masculine - Son, a male descendant

Diagram: The sign of a "Son" shows the resemblance to the parent and appears below the parent showing he is a descendant. The word "son" appears 382 times in the New Testament; 35 times in Mark, 9 times not as a holy title. Also see Son of David, Son of God, Son of Man.
