Son of Man - huios tou anthropou (2960)

Definition: The title "Son of Man" (gematria value 2960) was a formal Hebrew term meaning "man" and was used in the Old Testament as a term to identify prophets. The prophet Ezekiel was referred to as the "son of man" 93 times in the book of Ezekiel. In the gospel of Mark, only Jesus referred to himself as the "Son of Man" to identify himself as a man and a prophet. His twenty four miracles (8 + 8 + 8) identified him as the Son of God. The witnesses to his miracles confirmed Jesus as the Son of God.
