The 7th phrase has these 4 dialog words, ... "lusate auton kai ferete" ("loose it and carry"). The 4 dialog words are top down. The NA26, based on the earliest texts, says "lusate auton" (loose it) which sounds normal. But the order to ferete (carry it) does not. The later Byzantine gospel interpreters had a problem with the totally inappropriate verb ferete. How could Jesus order the disciples to carry the colt or donkey back to him? The Byzantine scribes simply changed ferete to agagete (lead). However, the command to "carry" the "bound Colt" makes sense if you're looking at the underlying gematria diagram. The "bound Colt" needs to be loosed from the white rectangle (the village facing down to you). The Colt in the white triangle (Holy Spirit) can then be "loosed and carried" up! Always remmember, Mark is based on gematria! 11:02c < Verses > 11:03a |
