Verse 2 has 7 phrases and 28 words. The 1st phrase has 3 narrator words, the 2nd and 3rd phrases have these 7 dialog words, ... Kai legei autois, ... "Ypagete eis tēn kōmēn, tēn katenanti humōn" [And he-says to-them, ... "Under-lead into the village, the-one (facing)-down of-you, ..."). The 3 narrator words are top down, tangent to the triangles holding the two disciples. The 7 dialog words are top down, passing through and terminating tangent to the down facing village. The verse doesn't say what village. It was probably Bethphage, the one down from where Jesus and the twelve came out from Jerusalem in the last verse of this parable. In verse 3 Jesus promises "he will send him (the colt) here again." The disciples will "under-lead" (hupagete) into the "down facing village" in the next diagram. 11:01c < Verses > 11:02b |
