Verse 41 has two phrases containing these 10 narrator words ... Kai akousantes, hoi deka ērksanto aganaktein peri Iakōbou kai Iōannou (And having heard, the ten begin to be angry with James and John). The 10 narrator words are top down tangent to the ears of all ten disciples who begin to be angry with James and John for asking Jesus to give them special powers and sit next to him in his glory. The 10 words are also tangent to the ears of James and John who now know the other ten disciples are beginning to be angry with them. Jesus wasn't mentioned in this verse and therefore didn't have to be shown. 10:40b < Verses > 10:42a |
