Mk 10:29a ... Said the Jesus, ... "Amen I say to you, ..."

Verse 29 has eleven phrases of 29 words. The first two phrases contain these 3 narrator and 3 dialog words, ... efē ho Iēsous, amēn legō humin (Said the Jesus, ... "Amen I say to you, ...").

The 6 words are top down. The diagram shows a house made out of amēn circles and the disciples have left it. Jesus typically uses the sign of the word "amen" (99) to gather the twelve disciples when he wants to show them something important. The word "humin" (to you) is dative plural, tangent to the open door of the empty house they left. Because they have left their houses and everything else they own, Jesus tells them they will receive something more valuable. That is what the gospel is all about.
