Mk 9:50a ... "Ideal (is) the Salt."

Verse 50 has five phrases containing 21 dialog words. The first phrase has these 3 words ... Kalon to halas ["Ideal (is) the Salt, ..."].

The 3 dialog words are bottom up. This statement equates the two signs of "ideal" and "the salt." The word "Kalon" (Ideal) straddles both rhombii thereby equating them. The verb "estin" (is) therefore is not required. The diagram shows the sign "ideal" (salt) pushed down into the ground by the three dialog circles so that it is tangent to the triangles holding the four men (the ones reading this gospel).
