Verse 40 has two phrases and 9 dialog words. The first phrase has these 6 words, ... hos gar ouk estin kath hemōn (Whoever for not is down on us, ..."). The 6 dialog words are top down. The two words "ouk kath" (not against) also means "not down on." The diagram shows the rival exorcist is "not down on" (tangent to) the twelve. Rather, the rival exorcist is a half step "above" the twelve. The central hexagon still contains three equilateral triangles as in diagram 39b. 9:39b < Verses > 9:40b |
