Mk 3:5c ... he says to the man, ..."Stretch out the hand!"

Phrases three and four contain the following 3 narrator and 3 dialog words ... legei tō anthrōpō, ... Ekteinon tēn cheira! (he says to the man, ... "Stretch out the hand!" ...).

The first 3 narrator words are top down on the right from Mark the narrator, the next 3 dialog words are top down on the left from Jesus. Verse 3:5b shows the 6th of 24 miracles Jesus performs in this gospel. The victims dry hand must have been glued tight to his Unclean Spirit to cause his affliction. When Jesus told the man to "stretch out the hand" he had to obey the command. Jesus knew the force of "stretching out his hand" would tear the Unclean Spirit in two. If you haven't noticed, the command from Jesus to "stretch out the hand" also had to be obeyed by another man, himself!
