The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th phrases have these 3 narrator and 4 dialog words, ... legei tō Iēsou, "Kurie, outos de ti" (says to-the Jesus, Lord, this-one and what)? The 3 narrator words are top down from the head of Jesus to the head of the beloved disciple. The 2 dialog words "Kurie, outos" (Lord, this-one) are tangent to a rhombus formed by "a stone" under the body of the beloved disciple, and from the hands of Jesus down to the head of the beloved disciple as seen in diagram 20a and 20b in a flashback to the "Last Supper." The last 2 dialog words "de ti" (and what) are tangent to a rhombus formed by "a stone" under the body of the Spirit of-John and from the hands of the beloved disciple to the head of the Spirit of-John. By the geometry, Simon can only speak to Jesus through the Spirit of-John and this Stone coming from Simon the Stone. In the next verses, Simon asks Jesus why he has to follow him in death while "this-one" doesn't have to die. Jn 21:21a < Verse > Jn 21:22 |
