Definition: nardos (nar'dos) Noun, Feminine - Spikenard, Nard for short, an Indian plant called nardostachys nardus jatamansi, used for the preparation of a fragrant ointment, a perfume made from a plant growing on the Himalayas. Stored in ground alabaster containers to prevent evaporation.
