Definition: seléné (sel-ay'-nay) Noun, Feminine - The Moon, the name of the body circling the earth every 28 days. Derived from the word selas (brilliancy).

The diameter of the sun is 30.0 arcminutes. By calculation, the moon is 98% as large as the sun, almost the same percentage as their gematria values. This coincidence is rather amazing!
