Mk 13:24b ... "after the 'tribulation' that the 'sun will be darkened,' ..."

The 2nd phrase has these 7 dialog words, ... meta tēn thlipsin ekeinēn ho hēlios skotisthēsetai ("after the tribulation that the sun will be darkened, ...").

The 7 dialog words are bottom up from the earth up to Jesus. The word "thlipsin" (tribulation, pressure) lies in the center of the diagram, the point where three blue triangles converge applying metaphorical pressure on the word "sun" thereby causing it to "darken." The word "thlipsin" (tribulation) is a metaphor for what Jesus will experience in the next 2 days. He will be betrayed, arrested, falsly charged, tried, sentenced to death, scourged, crucified, killed, and buried in a tomb. The word "the sun" is a metaphor for Jesus. The word "skotisthēsetai" (will be darkened) is a metaphor for death, but with the hope that the death is temporary. The word "sun" in the diagram is darkened which will carry on into the next diagram.
