Common - koinos

Definition: koinos (koy-nos') Adjective - Common, unclean.

Diagram: An Adjective modifies some attribute of a noun. Since "koinos" means "unclean," it changes the color of the attribute dark. Examples: "Koine Greek" means ungrammatical Greek. "Koine hands" mean unclean or unwashed hands.
