Caesar (Tiberius) - kaisar

Definition: Kaisar (kah'-ee-sar) Noun, Masculine - Caesar, the surname of Julius Caesar, adopted by Octavius Augustus and his successors as a title. The caesar during the time of Jesus was emperor Tiberius. His denarii were inscribed "Tiberius Caesar, Divine Augustus, Son of Augustus" meaning he was like Jesus, the Son of a God.
