Mk 14:1b ... And were seeking the chief priests and the scribes, how in deceit having siezed him they might kill.

The second sentence has these 13 narrator words ... Kai ezētoun hoi arxiereis kai hoi grammateis pōs auton en doliō kratēsantes apokteinōsin (And were seeking the chief priests and the scribes, how in deceit having siezed him they might kill).

The 13 narrator words are top down. This diagram shows Jesus is seized between the passover and the seeking of the scribes inside the deceit of the priests. Their deceitful plan is to kill Jesus by charging him with sedition and blasphemy, false testimony, a quick trial, then crucifixion.
