Mk 12:18a ... And are coming some Sadducees before him, ...

Verse 18 has three phrases and 14 narrator words. The 1st phrase has these 5 narrator words ... Kai erxontai Saddoukaioi pros auton (And are coming some Sadducees before him, ...).

The 5 narrator words are bottom up tangent to all four Sadducees. The Pharisees and Herodians have now departed. Now four Sadducees come to argue with Jesus. The word "auton" (him) is tangent to Jesus.
