Mk 11:17c ... "But ~ you have made it a cave of robbers!"

The fourth phrase contains these 6 dialog words ... humeis de pepoiēkate auton spēlaion lestōn ("You but have made it a cave of robbers")!

The 6 dialog words are top down. The pronoun "humeis" (you, pl) refers to the chief priests and scribes in the next verse. The two money changers and the two dove sellers from the previous verse are the "robbers." Their loot (tables of coins) have filled the space below the "house" (temple). Jesus is paraphrasing this Old Testament verse alluded to in the previous diagram (Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching, declares the Lord!) Jeremiah 7:11.
