Verse 13 has 4 phrases and 29 narrator words. The first phrase has these 7 words, ... kai idōn sukēn apo makrothen echousan fulla (And having seen a fig tree from afar having leaves, ...).

The 7 narrator words are top down, tangent to the fig tree. The first 2 words "kai idōn" (And having seen) are tangent to the sight circles coming down from the eyes of Jesus, through the hunger vesica voids in his body, then tangent to the first 2 narrator words of the phrase. The last 2 words "echousan fulla" (having leaves) are tangent to the canopy of the tree. Having hunger, Jesus looks for something to eat. He sees the "suke" (fig tree) but no sign of something to eat. The current season is spring. Leaves have just appeared, but it's too early for the fruit (figs) which come in autumn.
