Verse 16 has three phrases and 9 narrator words, ... Kai enagkalisamenos auta, kataulogei, titheis tas xeiras ep auta (And in clasping them, he blesses, placing the hands on them). The 9 narrator words are top down. The 2 words auta kateulogei (them he-down-blesses) are tangent to the hands of Jesus down to the top three children. The verb kateulogei comes from kata (down), eu (good), and logei (words). The last 5 words titheis tas xeiras ep auta (placing the hands on them) are tangent from the hands of Jesus to the bottom three children. This is virtually the completed 10:13b diagram. Jesus clasps his hands on the heads of all six children as he blesses them. 10:15b < Verses > 10:17a |
