The 3rd and 4th phrases contain these 13 dialog words in this order ... ou gar estin kalon labein, ton arton tōn teknōn, kai tois kunariois balein (not for it-is ideal to-take the bread of-the boys and to-the 'little-dogs' to-cast-it"). The first 7 dialog words are top down tangent to a rhombus and three baskets of bread. The first 5 words are tangent to Jesus holding a rhombus that is "not ideal" because half of it is black. The last 6 words are top down tangent to the 12 disciples and 9 "black triangles" (little dogs) inside a rhombus that is 'not ideal' because it is totally black. The 4 words "ton arton tōn teknōn" (the bread of the boys) brackets three baskets of bread and the twelve disciples. The last 6 words "tōn teknōn, kai tois kunariois balein" (the boys, and to the 'little dogs' to cast it) are tangent to the 9 little triangles (dogs). Jesus is giving the woman a choice as well as warning her as to who she will feed first, his disciples or the little doggies. The diagram starkly shows what answer is "not ideal." 7:27a < Verses > 7:28a |
