The third phrase has these 7 narrator words in this order ... kai eiselthōn eis oikian oudena ēthelen gnōnai (And having entered into a house, he wanted "no one" to know). The 7 narrator words are top down with the words "eis oikian" (into a house) tangent to the top of the house! The diagram shows Jesus inside the doorway of the house wishing the "nobody" outside his door doesn't know he entered or doesn't know him. And that was the case. The next verse implies that if the man didn't see Jesus enter, he might have heard him inside. After he came and saw him, only then did he know who he was. 7:24a < Verses > 7:24c |
