Verse 52 has two phrases containing 12 narrator words. The 1st phrase has these 6 words ... ou gar sunēkan epi tois artois (Not for did-they-understand about the loaves). Diagram 1: The 6 words are clockwise starting bottom left and ending on the bottom of the boat tangent to the sea and a basket of loaves. There are 11 disciples in vesica-mode under the 6 words and 1 disciple in face-mode in the center of the boat. The 5 words "ou gar sunēkan epi tois" (not for did they understand about the) are tangent to the top of the head down to the ears of the disciple in center of the boat. The word "artois" (loaves) is tangent to the "basket of loaves" in the sea. Diagram 2: This diagram shows all twelve disciples inside the boat. Two disciples in face mode in the center of the boat show 4 empty "circles of understanding" tangent to the sides of their heads which are tangent to 4 baskets of loaves. Ten disciples in vesica-mode are inside the empty circles meaning all 12 disciples do not understand about the loaves. When Jesus told them "I am" they did not understand that was the title of "Almighty God." They also did not fill in the two words "I am the Wind" that has been blowing into your boat. The disciples did not remember having a "great fear" of death when waves filled their boat during a storm. After Jesus said "Be still" they said "Who is this, that even the Wind and the Sea obey him?" And they did not understand about "tois artois" (the loaves), that Jesus is the "Bread of Life." 6:51c < Verses> 6:52b |
