Mk 6:38b ... And having-known they-say, ... "Five, and two fish."

The 4th through 6th phrases have these 3 narrator and 4 dialog words, ... Kai gnontes legousin, Pente, kai duo ichthuas (And having-known they-say, ... "Five, and two fish").

The 3 narrator words in the 4th phrase are bottom up, the 4 dialog words in the 5th and 6th phrase are top down. The above diagram shows how to position the disciples, four in face mode, and eight in vesica mode to reveal the food! The bottom 10 disciples (2 in face mode) "having known" (gnonte) are "underleading." The eight disciples in vesica mode hold the 5 loaves (artoi, 481) and the 2 fish (ixthues, 1224) in their "arms." The other two face mode disciples "saying" (legousin) are tangent to the top two words.
