The second sentence has two phrases containing 4 narrator and 6 dialog words ... kai ekrazon legontes hoti, ... "Su ei ho huios tou theou" (And were crying out saying that, ... "You are the Son of the God")! The 10 words are bottom up. When the six "Unclean Spirits" see the little boat turn white, the one "that would stand ready for him," they see the "little boat" was actually "the word" coming from God the Father! The Unclean Spirits have now seen the 'Messianic secret' and they cried it out. The diagram shows God the Father and Jesus directly under him in the 'Son of God' position. God the Father holds the "little boat" tangent to his outstretched "arms." It looks like Jesus is supporting the "little boat" on his shoulders. 3:11a < Verses > 3:12 |
