Heaven - ouranos

Definition: A region of the cosmos where God and Spirits reside. Many religions believe there are multiple regions in heaven. The bible says God created the heavens and the earth in seven days (Gen 1:1, 2:2). The Apocalypse of Enoch says the prophet was lifted up to the seventh heaven (2 Enoch 20:1). Paul said he was caught up into "the third heaven" (2 Co 12:2). According to the Indian Vedas and the Quran, there are seven heavens.
