Mk 1:10b ... he-saw being-split the heavens, ...

The 2nd phrase has these 4 words ... eiden schizomenous tous ouranous (he saw being split the heavens, ...).

The 4 narrator words are bottom up. The verb schizō means to cause a tear, a split, a separation large enough to be seen. The 2 words "tous ouranous" (the heavens) is the plural of "to ouranos" (the heaven). "The singular and plural have distinct meanings and should be distinguished in translation, though they rarely are" (G. Archer). The diagram shows three triangles of the heavens have fallen tangent to the four gospel text words that are also tangent to the sign of Jesus's sight. The verb schizō is used as literary bookends in this gospel when Jesus first appears and the heavens are split and at the moment of his death when the veil in the temple is split!
