Head of a Corner - kephale gonias

Definition: Kephale Gonias (kef-al-ay' gonias) Noun, Feminine - Head Corner Stone, a corner stone uniting two walls, a capstone, a head angle.

Diagram: The Sign of a "Head Corner" for a rectangle is the "corner-stone" at ground level. The "head angle" for a pyramid (a tomb), an equilateral triangle, is the "capstone" the "head stone" at the top. The top stone one is the "head corner." The term applies to the ledge inside the tomb where Jesus will be buried.

Mk 12:10 A "stone" which the builders rejected ... This one has come to be "Head of a Corner."
