And they-came into 'the other-side of-the sea,' ... |

into
the region of-the Gerasenes. |
| 5:02 |
And having-come he out of-the boat, ... |
| |
immediately met him out of-the tombs, a-man in a-Spirit Unclean, ... |
| 5:03 |
who the down-dwelling had in the tombs, ... |
| |
and not (even with) a-chain any-longer, ... |
| |
nobody was-able him to-bind. |
| 5:04 |
Because often he was bound (with) fetters and chains, ... |
| |
and
the chains had been torn apart by him, ... |
| |
and the fetters he trod together, ... |
| |
and nobody was strong (enough) to tame him. |
| 5:05 |
And through every night and day in
the tombs, ... |
| |
And in
the mountains he-was-crying out, ... |
| |
and beating-down on-himself with-stones. |
| 5:06 |
And
having-seen the Jesus from afar he-ran,
... |
| |
and he-kissed (the ground) before to-him. |
| 5:07 |
And having-cried a-voice great he-says, ... |
| |
What (is this) to-me and to-you Jesus, Son of-the God of-the highest! |
| |
I-implore you by-the God not me to-torment! |
| 5:08 |
For he-was-saying to-him, ... "Come-out the Spirit the Unclean from the man!" |
| 5:09 |
And he-questioned him, ... "What (is)
a-name of-you? ..." |
| |
and
he-says to-him, ... "LEGION (is) a-name of-me because many
we-are." |
| 5:10 |
And it called-beside him greatly, that not
he-send them out of-the region. |

Now
there-was before the mountain a-great
herd of-pigs feeding. |
| 5:12 |
And they-called-beside him saying, ... "Send
us into the pigs so that into them we-may-enter." |
| 5:13 |
And he-turned-it-over to-them. |
| |
And having-come-out, the Spirits the Unclean entered into the pigs, ... |
| |
and rushed the herd down the 'steep-slope' into the sea. |
| |
about 2000, and they-were-choked in the sea. |
| 5:14 |
And
the-ones feeding them fled, ... |
| |
and they-reported into the city, ... |
| |
and
into the farm-fields, ... |
| |
And they-came to-see, ..."what is the-thing that-happened?" |
| 5:15 |
And
they-come before the Jesus, ... |
| |
and they-see the-one demonized, sitting-down, clothed, and of-sound-mind, ... |
| |
the-one having-had the Legion, and they-were-afraid. |
| 5:16 |
And they-described to-them, ... |
| |
the-ones having-seen what happened to-the demon-possessed (man), ... |
| |
and about the pigs. |
| 5:17 |
And
they-began to-call beside him to-leave from the region of-them. |
| 5:18 |
And as-he-(is)-stepping into the boat, ... |
| |
was-begging him, the-one who-was-demonized, that with him he-might-be. |
| 5:19 |
And not did-he-permit him, ... |
| |
but he-says to-him, ... "Underlead into the house of-you before 'the-ones' (who-are) yours, ..." |

"and
report up to-them all that the Lord has-done for-you, ..." |
| |
"and had-mercy-on you." |
| 5:20 |
And
he-left and
began to-preach in the Decapolis, ... |
| |
everything that-did for-him the Jesus, ... |
| |
and
everyone was-amazed! |
